A challenging final project with impact!

Are you looking for a final project that will actually be used and that benefits many people? Belsimpel has got you covered! Here, you won’t work on simple projects that have been lying around for ages. You’ll start working on a project of your own that’s important and has lots of impact on our customers or your colleagues.

How do we develop software?

Each team works on their own part of the software. These may be customer-oriented components, but also our warehouse system, or our own HR system. You develop, optimize and implement new features. All systems we are working on are developed by our own teams, so that we can respond to complex and challenging changes in the marketplace. Even though we also use the systems ourselves, we create it as stand-alone software that is of value to other companies. So even though we are also a webshop, we consider ourselves to be a software company. Our scope is a lot broader than you might have expected.

... and do not forget Gitlab, Docker, Typescript and Redis. We use various tools, including Jetbrains, Slack, Ubuntu/Windows and vscode. This is always in motion, as the world of technology never stands still either.


What will your project look like?

  • We always have multiple interesting projects ready to start. The one you’ll be working on? We’ll discuss that later.
  • We can still give you an impression of what you will be working on. We develop everything ourselves and your project will be related to that, such as our CRM-system, warehouse-, HRM or AB-testing system.
  • Would you like to work on one of these projects and make important improvements? Or does your heart and strength lie with one of our two successful spinoffs? One is Verifai, which consists of advanced ID Verification software, and the other is our own insurance Tulip Assist. One thing is certain: Belsimpel can offer you the challenge you’re looking for!

Who are you?

We are looking for smart and fun colleagues. We assume you’re a good programmer and that’s why we don’t think prior knowledge of the programming languages we use is important. If you’re good, you’ll get the hang of things soon enough. Are you smart and critical, do you have a positive attitude, and do you like creating beautiful things that affect hundreds of thousands of customers and a team of hundreds of employees? Then you’re the one we’re looking for!

  • We have no fixed job profiles. This has the great benefit that we can tailor your job and your development, to suit your needs. 
  • The development department is working in English, but the majority of the colleagues speak Dutch too.

  • We have a remote working policy for up to 2 days per week. More days are possible in consultation.
