You set the direction
As an Engineering Manager, you are responsible for one or more teams and the long-term technical strategy of our platform. You act as a coach for our engineers, a strategic partner for our product colleagues, and a guardian of technical quality and innovation.

What you'll do
You drive vision, people, and results. You work on scalability, technical health, and culture, while inspiring teams to deliver their best work.
Examples of your work:
Developing and communicating an engineering vision for one or more teams
Leading cross-team projects with significant impact
Safeguarding technical quality and minimizing technical debt, among other things by coaching our engineers
Translating business goals into technical strategy and roadmap
Representing engineering towards the executive team and external stakeholders
What kind of projects might you work on?
Implementing large-scale architectural changes
Leading programs for international scaling
Setting up the technical part of the roadmap
Improving security, compliance, and performance at platform level
Cultivating an engineering culture focused on learning and knowledge sharing

What we're looking for
What you’ll bring:
A master’s level way of thinking and working (WO-denkniveau)
At least 6 years of experience in engineering, with several years in leadership roles
A proven track record in making strategic technical decisions at company level
Strong leadership, communication, and change management skills
Deep knowledge of modern software development and architecture
Fluency in both Dutch and English, spoken and written
